Project 2025

Enhanced Access to Legal Assistance for Older Adults in Virginia

Resources

This Resource Guide has been created to assist those who have an interest in advocating for the legal rights of seniors. The information provided is the result of the collaborative efforts of Project 2025's stakeholders with support, in part, by a grant from the Administration on Aging*, Department of Health and Human Services. Acting as a conduit for locating legal service providers for seniors in the Commonwealth of Virginia, this guide addresses advocacy, information & referral, legal advice, legal representation, and training.

* "This project was supported, in part, by a grant, number 0985-0018 (Project 2025: Enhanced Access to Legal Assistance for Older Americans in Virginia - Model Approaches to Statewide Legal Assistance Systems), from the Administration on Aging, Department of Health and Human Services, Washington, D.C. 20201.
